Entry 2
It's days like these that I'm so thankful
I adopted Molly. She's such a precious friend. I know, it's seems so silly to
call a dog a friend... but she is. She listens to me without complaint and
doesn't give a fig what I look like. As long as I keep the kibble coming and I
take her to the park, she's happy. Talk about easy-going! And she's so darn
cute... with her furry little face and that coffee-table-clearing tail. I can
come home from a terrible day at the book store and just seeing her grinning mug
cheers me up. And yes, she does know how to grin!
But let me get to the best part of the day. Well, it was fun for me, if not for Jon. Jon, you ask? I'm so glad you asked! Molly and I ran into him at the park today. Well, ran into him is a nice way to put it. It seems I need to pay closer attention to where I'm throwing Molly's frisbee... I hit Jon in the head. Anyway, by the time I got to him, I was panting and out of breath and he was just laying there all gorgeous and sweaty in his jogging shorts. Wow. Need I say more? Okay, I will. He's SO gorgeous with dark brown hair and the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. Lets not even discuss the man's body! And what did I do? Besides try not to ogle the poor man... I gave him my telephone number. Well, he hurt his hand and it was my fault... if he needs a doctor's care, I should pay for it! Anyway, Molly and I left him in the park, but I'm sure we made an impression. Here's hoping it was a good one, you know?
With great fondness,
